Tympanum Records begins with a release that firmly represents and projects the vision that forms the ideals and musical language of the Orange County based label. The essence of Tympanum Records is diversity, variability, and hybridization. It begins with music by Josh Sturges, foreboding, yet somber, dripping with atmosphere. Next is music by EAS, raw, and unrelenting. The EP ends with a project from both co-owners themselves, Mosaic, a combination of both producers’ capabilities to create a stream of consciousness that’s fleeting, and ethereal.
